Audubon board members Matt Heyden and Lora Losi will be leading a field trip to
Blue Heron Wetlands on Sunday December 13, 2015. We will meet at 8:00 am at the Cracker Barrel
at I-95 & SR 50 (Exit # 215) in the south parking lot. The trip will be from 8:00-11:00 AM. This is a driving field trip, taking cars
around the wetlands, and not the 3 mile hike.
Some walking will be necessary to get into the interior. Space Coast Audubon now has walkie-talkies
and will be using for all driving field trips in the future. Long pants, long sleeves and closed toed
shoes are recommended. I would suggest
bringing drinks, snacks, sunscreen and bug spray (optional). Please RSVP Matt Heyden at mheyden716@aol.com.
